Jimmy Jean signed with the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He will be playing for former Arkansas Razorback Offensive Coordinator Garrick McGee. Jimmy Jean is a 6’3 195lb Cornerback from Pompano Beach, FL. He graduated from Blanche Ely High School. Jimmy has over a 3.8 cumulative GPA and will be receiving his AA Degree in May. This past season Jimmy recorded 54 tackles (41 solo, 13 assist), 4 interceptions, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 3 fumble recoveries, and 3 pass break-ups. Jimmy also played Wide Receiver some and had 3 TD receptions and 1 2-point conversion. Coach Richard Wilson and the Buffalo football staff are extremely proud of Jimmy’s accomplishments on and off the field and look forward to seeing the bright future he has ahead. Dalton Patterson graduated in December and received a scholarship to play for former Arkansas Razorback Head Coach Bobby Petrino at Western Kentucky.

On Wednesday December 19th, 2012 Arkansas Baptist College Sophomore Dalton Patterson signed with Western Kentucky University. Dalton Patterson is a 6’3 Cornerback from New Orleans, LA. He graduated high school from O. Perry Walker. In 2012 Dalton recorded 25 total tackles, 17 solo and 8 assist. Dalton also had 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery and 2 pass break ups. Dalton Patterson has graduated in December with his Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies with a 3.2 gpa.

TOREY DESHAZIER SIGNS WITH KANSAS CITY ROYALS
For the second year in a row a buffalo baseball players has signed with a professional baseball team. Saturday night Torey Deshazier a pitcher out of Pine Bluff Arkansas inked a free agent dealwith the Kansas City Royals. Torey had a 6 and 5 record with the with a ERA of 3.40. Last year Kentrell Hill (Asahdown) signed with the Giants. Kentrell is presently hitting over 300 in the rookie league and will be moving up to Class A ball.

Three Arkansas Baptist College Buffaloes Baseball Team Members Receive NJCAA ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN HONORS! Each athlete must have maintained a 3.6 during 4 full time semesters as members of the baseball team. There were 6 Baseball Academic All Americans in our Region (ABC had 3)…Awesome! Josue Deleon and Eddy Devora received the Exemplary Academic Achievement Award with a 3.72 GPA. Beau Fulcher received the Superior Academic Achievement Award with a 3.8 GPA. Another group of young men from ABC that are on their way to great success. Beau Fulcher signed a full scholarship to Arkansas Tech University where he will be playing baseball and Josue Deleon and Eddy Devora are looking to attend Jackson State University and continue their baseball careers.
HEARTSAVER AED TRAINING
This past year the ABC Athletic Staff went through training on our newly purchase AED’s. ABC Athletics would like to extend a special thanks to Steve and Sandy Landers for their generous donation of these vital life saving devices. Performing the training session was Mike Willingham.

Arkansas Baptist College competes as a Region 2 member of the National Junior College Athletics Association. The Buffaloes compete in eight sports: football, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women track, women softball, men’s baseball, and wrestling. ABC is the only college in the state of Arkansas that offers a two year football program and a two year wrestling program.
