Marketing/Promotions Director
KARK/KARZ and ArkansasMatters.com in Little Rock, AR is looking to hire a Marketing/Promotions Director with a proven background. The Director of Marketing/Promotions is responsible for leading a team of producers to implement promotional strategies that will help reinforce brand definition and station awareness across all media platforms. The incumbent will also oversee all outside advertising and media buys in accordance with the department budget and facilitate all community related station projects. The candidate will work closely with managers in News, Sales and Engineering Departments to maximize revenue and grow audience base.
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years experience with developing, writing and producing on-air promotional and marketing elements or at least 2 years of proven management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment. Candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet extremely tight deadlines. Excellent communications skills are an absolute MUST.
4 year college degree is preferred

PRODUCER
KARK, the NBC affiliate in Little Rock, Arkansas, is looking for an aggressive, innovative, and creative producer to help take our product to the next level. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of producing shows that make an impact with an audience both on-air and online. KARK is looking for someone who welcomes the opportunity to drop everything for breaking news.
Candidates must be engaged in social media and be able to regularly contribute to the station’s website.
Above all, we’re looking for someone with an optimistic outlook and a winning attitude. Applicants should a minimum of two years reporting experience.
