  • Third Party Payments.  Proof of payment from a third party is an acceptable form of payment for registration.
  • Deferments.  Students with a balance may request deferment of a spring semester balance to the fall semester.  To be eligible, student must complete the financial aid process and/or make payment arrangements with the Business Office.

Delinquent Accounts.  Unpaid loans and deferments are due by the 11th class day of each semester.  Failure to pay will prevent registration.  Past due accounts will be referred to a collection agency with an additional 33% fee.

Room.  Dependent students who reside outside of the Little Rock metro area, and have accumulated less than 60 credit hours at the beginning of a fall semester are required to live in college housing.  Students living in the residence hall after the 11th class day (census date) will be assessed a full housing fee even if the student withdraws from the College.  There are no pro-rations.

Students who are not registered by the 9th class day must vacate the residence hall the first Saturday after the 9th class day.  There are no exceptions.

Board Plan.  All students in college housing are assessed a 19-week meal plan fee.  Off-campus students have the option to purchase a reduced meal plan.  All meal plans include Buffalo Bucks which can be used at the “Buffalo Barn” and the Auto Baptism “Snack Haven.”  There are no pro-rations.

Books.  The Arkansas Baptist College Business Office provides books to all students.  Students who return the books in good condition minus normal wear and tear will receive a 66.67% credit.  All students are required to have books.

Late Fees.  Late fees are assessed to all continuing students who are not registered for courses by the first day of class.  Late fees are assessed to new students not registered by the 6th class day.

Add/Drop.  The last day to add/drop a course without a fee is the last day of registration.

Laptop Computers.  All students are required to have a laptop computer.  Students who fail to show proof of a laptop are assessed a one-time laptop fee.  The institution provides a laptop computer to all students who complete the financial aid process.

Attendance (Census Date).  Students must attend courses for which they are enrolled at least one time before the 11th class day.  Students who fail to attend class will be dropped from the class roster, and federal funds received will be adjusted to reflect current enrollment status.

Credit Balance Refund.  Students who have a credit after payment of tuition and fees will receive a credit balance refund.  The first payment will be made within 14 days after the 11th class day. First time borrowers will receive payment within 30 days after the 11th class day.  All credit balance refunds are uploaded to an ABC- provided VISA debit card.
